Eliana Heredia

Eliana Heredia (*1978 São Paulo, Brazil) lives and works in Berlin and Buenos Aires.

She studied at the Instituto Universitario del Arte (IUNA) in Buenos Aires to become National Professor of Sculpture in 2000 and graduated from the Master’s School of the University of Arts (UDK) Berlin in 2011.

She has received several scholarships, among others from the Fondo Nacional de las Artes (Argentina 2008), DAAD (Germany 2009) and German Art Fund (2013). She has participated in artist residencies in South America and Europe, for example at the Maison des Cultures du Monde (Vitré, France 2011) or at the Atelierhaus Salzamt (Linz, Austria 2013). Her works have been exhibited in museums, galleries and art spaces in Europe and South America, such as the Museum of Fine Arts Leipzig (MdbK), Casa Argentina in Paris (France), Kunst im Bauhof in Winterthur (Switzerland), Reload – Ex officine di via Ghisleri in Rome (Italy), Museo de Arte Latinoamericano (MALBA) in Buenos Aires (Argentina).
